It was comfortable and clean

No paths to walk on to get to room and it rained for our stay I found this annoying and couldn't park car close to room because to muddy

This is a perfect place for a couple to have a day or three in a very well appointed motel. As indicated above, everything was to our satisfaction. The location is spot-on as well; very quiet and a short, easy walk to the Hanmer facilities. The tv channel selection is the best I have encountered. Trackside was a welcome bonus.

I chose Scarborough Lodge because is wasn't just another hotel room. The owners were incredibly welcoming, the room spacious, warm, and very relaxing. I would definitely recommend to friends. Thank you for a lovely stay

modern and clean privat accommodation, spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, quiet on side road but 3 min walk to the main street and spa, normally I do not write reviews, but this one I highly recommend

The size and layout of the room was excellent. It wasn't like a pokey little hotel room. You also access to outside where you could sit in a private garden if you wanted to. The spa bath was lovely and added to the romantic side of our stay!! Loved the place. Would definitely stay there again if it just my husband and I.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like. But just a suggestion, some nice fluffy bath robes would be great.

The owner greeted us and made us feel welcome. The room was spacious and very comfortable and looked very new. The bathroom was large and very nicely decorated and included a spa bath. The unit was warm and inviting and beautifully decorated to a high standard. We will be returning to stay at Scarborough Lodge and the beautiful Hanmer Springs. Also, they were very generous in not charging us for 2 nights when we had an unexpected death in the family. We really appreciated this gesture when we were feeling shocked and exhausted.Thanks Scarborough Lodge.

It had snowed over night beautiful view of mountains , walking distance to hot pool & town

The studio apartment was scrupulously clean, well-presented and the fittings and fixtures were of high quality. The operators were courteous, informative and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a smaller venue.

Private, comfortable and cean accommodation, flat screen tv, heat pump and spa bath. Hosts fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Location, very close to town and the hot pools. Everything we needed.

The walls were thin so you could here the people next door.
